Sovereign Grace Fellowship began formally on January 10, 1998. Our small group began meeting informally in October of 1997 at the home of Sharon and David Shorey. We felt burdened of the Lord to begin this ministry because we saw the need for reaching out into our community with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as well as a home for those who love the Doctrines of Grace. We purposed to have an independent, evangelical, non-denominational church that held to God’s Word and preached and taught the Doctrines of Sovereign Grace.

In June of 1998, we bought our present property, after much prayer, from Richard Crossman, a brother in Christ. During 1999 the Lord saw us through many difficult times with the State and town of Boscawen resolving problems with wetlands issues. Construction finally began in 2000 with several of the men and women doing much of the work. The building was approved for worship and we held our first Thanksgiving service in November of 2002.

Our plans for the future, as the Lord enables and wills:

    A Youth Camp ministry
A Soup Kitchen/Food Pantry outreach (realized in 2006)
Whatever need our Lord presents us with

We presently support the following missionaries and/or teachers on a monthly basis:
